What type of warranty or guarantee do I have? Each manufacturer has its own warranty for different product lines. For instance, Towle Silversmiths offers a lifetime warranty on all of its sterling silverware against manufacturer defects. Towle also offers a 25-year warranty on all of its stainless steel flatware. Ask your representative what the warranty is for your particular manufacturer of interest. Of course, the Nat Schwartz & Co guarantees the premium condition of every product it sells, and we will exchange any defective item (provided that you purchased it from the Nat Schwartz & Co).
How long does it take to receive an item if it's out of stock? The vast majority of items we sell are available to us within 3-10 days. If the manufacturer is out of stock, the waiting time can vary, but it is usually 3-4 weeks. In some cases, we can also have the manufacturer ship items directly to you.
What is the difference between Place and Dinner Settings? There are two sizes available in most sterling silverware patterns, Place Size and Dinner Size. The 4-piece Place Setting consists of Salad Fork, Place Fork, Place Knife, and Teaspoon. The 4-piece Dinner Setting has the same items, but the main fork and knife are approximately 1/2" longer, and a little bit heavier. The Salad Fork and the Teaspoon are the same in both Place and Dinner Size.Although most people purchase the Place Size.

When will I receive my order? Normal delivery for in-stock merchandise is 7-10 business days, shipped UPS and usually arrives much sooner.if you need faster delivry please contact customer service. If we're temporarily out of stock,normal delivery is about 4 weeks although some companies do take longer. If the item(s) you purchased are drop shipped, you will receive the merchandise directly from the manufacturer in approximately 6-8 weeks from the date your order was placed.

What is your return policy? Within 30 days of receipt of merchandise you can easily arrange for returns and exchanges by calling our toll-free number, 1-800-526-1440. This policy does not include engraved/personalized items, sterling silver flatware that has been removed from their sealed bags, special orders and import orders. Dated and seasonal merchandise is nonreturnable. The following are noncancelable and nonreturnable: endgarving/personaliziing orders, opened sterling silver orders,import orders. Special order items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Can I return a product that I received as a gift? Yes, but not for a credit refund. A merchandise credit will be issued for gifts that are returned by the recipient. Please allow 3-4 weeks for returns processing through our facility. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
